I am:

A lover of music, poetry, dance, drama, visual arts, and people in general in all their tumultuous variations. A painter, a printmaker, and a collaborative printer focused primarily on relief and intaglio printing. A north-westerner born and raised, with a life devoted to printing for other artists while pursuing a personal art practice in the wings. The founder of Sidereal Fine Art Press housed in a refurbished pole barn in Tukwila, WA. A printer trained by working alongside many different artists, printers, designers and craftspeople who have, by virtue of their generosity, shared freely their knowledge and expertise. Supported by a kind, loving and talented husband without whose help, all things would not be possible.

I believe:

In humility, gratitude, generosity, honesty, and hard work. In the collaborative process; the back and forth, the synergy that results in something stronger, more vital, more complex than the sum of its parts. In community; the connections and mutual respect forged between people sharing their experiences, interests, and differing views of the world. In the power of art to shape and move us, in positive concert, towards a healthy and more just planet. That each and every one of us has something valuable to offer, something positive to share, and if we are not open to those possibilities, we will not grow.
