Sidereal Press Has Moved
August 28, 2009
Sidereal Fine Art Press has relocated to a renovated pole barn built in the mid 60's. It is located in Tukwila, a 20 minute drive from downtown Seattle and 10 blocks from the new Tukwila Link Light Rail Station.
Sheila and her husband Rick purchased the land in late September of last year and have spent the last 8 months upgrading the property. Shown below are a collection of photographs depicting the studio remodel in progress.

Rick and I want to say a special thanks to all the fabulous workers who helped make the new space beautiful. We never could have achieved it without their wonderful expertise, energy and support!
Thanks to all of you!
As with all moves, some unpacking and set up still remains to be done, but Sheila is back to work. One of her current projects is the completion of Kristina Hagman's 36 views of Mt. Rainier. That project should be finished in the next several months. Also look for the final release of the Scott Fife intaglio edition of the Hummingbirds offered for sale through Platform Gallery in Seattle.
Lastly: In an effort to promote community Sidereal Press is opening it's doors the 2nd Friday morning of each month from 9 to Noon for an informal potluck gathering. Coffee, light breakfast and shared discussion is the aim. All interested parties are welcome to attend! Call for more detail when you plan to stop in: 206.298.9803. |
